I always prefer to go the natural route (for non-serious health issues).DIY Cooling Cucumber Face Toner is an easy recipe for creating your own cucumber toner you can apply to your whole face.
Cucumber acts as a firming/toner agent when in contact with the skin. So it helps to reduce puffy eyes if you put a couple slices right on top of them.
A classic home beauty trick is to use fresh cucumber slices to soothe puffy eyes. Simply lie down, close your eyes, put a cucumber slice on each, and let this naturally astringent and cooling vegetable work its magic.
1/2 cucumber with peel, chopped
3 tablespoons witch hazel
2 tablespoons distilled water
Put all of the ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove all of the solids, then pour the toner into a clean bottle with a tight-fitting lid.
