  2. I use witch hazel to make facial toner/wash. I pour 16oz over assorted herbs (chamomile, calendula, lavender, green tea, and thyme) and let it steep for a few weeks before straining for use. I use it after my shower in the morning as a toner and then again in the evening to remove makeup and dirt prior to bed. I’ve found that it makes my skin less oily, and the combination of the herbs works great to prevent acne and sooth my normally red cheeks. And it smells wonderful to boot!
